Ethan Rivers is a musician, composer, and audio producer from New York. His influences span multiple music genres including classical, jazz, electronic and ambient music. He has been composing music for over four years and studying music theory for the past ten years. He is further studying the clarinet, along with piano and percussion. Ethan specializes in composing orchestral scores by interweaving combinations of strings, brass, woodwinds, keyboards, and other unique instruments to create unique musical palettes. Moreover, he composes for a variety of different mediums including a couple short films, a game, concert music and his studio releases which features a blend of musical genres from orchestral to electronic. Ethan released his debut orchestral album titled 'Emergence' in August of 2019 marking his arrival as a composer. Furthermore, in June of 2020, he released his first single, 'A Time For Us' which showcases an emotional and orchestral sound palette; this release was followed by his second single 'Heart of Winter' which released in February 2021. Later that same year he also released his second album titled 'Watercolors' in September 2021. Currently he is working on more short film projects along with new studio releases arriving later this year. Ethan currently studies Music Composition and Theory at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. When not composing or performing music, he enjoys running, creatively writing poems/short stories, photography, and graphic design.
